Jessica, with a career in Early Childhood Education since the late 90s, shares her journey from working as a Leader of Programs and Head Teacher to joining The Director’s Club and The Teacher’s Lounge. Her passion for early education was sparked in high school and further developed through various roles, including working with infants and toddlers, leading to her role as a Program Director. She faced challenges such as leading her program through N.A.E.Y.C accreditation and managing a successful business.
After years of managing teachers and caring for children, Jessica explored new educational philosophies and returned to a director’s role. Despite facing challenges like a drop in enrollment and staff turnover under new ownership, she persevered and led the team to success. The 2020 pandemic brought further challenges, but her team overcame them, resulting in increased enrollment and continued success.
In fall 2022, Jessica embarked on a new adventure with The Director’s Club and The Teacher’s Lounge, applying her experience to create training tools and consulting services for professionals in early education. As the new Director of Professional Development, she reflects on her career with joy and looks forward to unlocking new opportunities at The Director’s Club, helping others in the field in her new podcast.
